Circling Madison Square

With Matt Postal

[In-person tour] The blocks bordering Madison Square include many memorable and often overlooked Art Deco delights. With architectural historian Matt Postal as our guide, we’ll view a varied group of late 1920s and 1930s designs, including commercial and residential structures by Harvey Wiley Corbett, Ely Jacques Kahn, and Horace Ginsbern. Likely highlights include the Madison Square Station Post Office, with neighborhood-themed frescoes by Kindred McLeary, 261 Fifth Avenue, a multi-colored loft gem, and Louis Shampan’s little known 1201 Broadway.

For all tours, there are no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges unless we cancel a tour. Online registration closes one hour prior to the tour start time.
